[IFA] Samsung präsentiert Galaxy Tab 7.7 mit Android 3.2, Super AMOLED-Display und 1,4 GHz CPU

Jetzt ist es offiziell: Samsung hat im Rahmen der IFA mit dem Galaxy Tab 7.7 sein insgesamt viertes Android-Tablet vorgestellt und damit alle Gerüchte der letzten Zeit bestätigt: Das Galaxy Tab 7.7 kommt mit Super-AMOLED-Screen, 1,4 GHz CPU und Android 3.2.

Überraschend kam die Präsentation nicht: Gerüchte um ein neues Galaxy Tab kursierten schon länger, und über ein Datenleck war bereits letzte Woche bekannt geworden, was Samsung für seinen heutigen Unpacked-Event geplant hatte. In der APK der Unpacked-App war ein Bild verborgen, das die Namen von drei neuen Geräten verriet: Wave 3, Galaxy Note und eben Galaxy Tab 7.7. Ob Panne oder Marketingzug ist jetzt egal – das Galaxy Tab 7.7 ist offiziell.

Das Super AMOLED Plus-Display misst 7,7 Zoll (ca. 19,6 cm), wie man anhand des Namens unschwer erraten kann, und löst mit komfortablen 1280×800 Pixeln auf. Als Betriebssystem kommt Android 3.2 zum Einsatz, freilich in Kombination mit Samsungs hauseigener TouchWiz-Oberfläche. Im Innern pumpt ein 1,4 GHz-Dual Core-Prozessorherz von Samsung, dank HSPA+ sind theoretisch Downloadraten von bis zu 21 Mbit/s möglich, der 5100 mAh-Akku liefert genügend Saft für lange Betriebszeiten.

Das Galaxy Tab 7.7 kommt in zwei Varianten mit unterschiedlich großem Speicher – entweder 16 GB oder 64 GB. Erweitert werden kann der Speicher standesgemäß via microSD-Slot. In Sachen Abmessungen unterbietet sich Samsung mal wieder selber:

Während Samsung in einem Werbeclip noch gezeigt hat, dass das Galaxy Tab 10.1 mit 8.6 mm so dünn wie ein Bleistift ist, misst das Galaxy Tab 7.7 lediglich 7,89 mm und bringt nur 335 Gramm auf die Waage. Damit passt das Honeycomb-Tablet bequem in jede größere Jackentasche.

In addition, the tablet supports MicroSD cards of up to 32 GB for direct media files transfer.

Samsung’s TouchWiz user experience is designed with a Live Panel menu for customizing the home screen of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with digital pictures, favorite Web sites and social network feeds.

In addition, the TouchWiz UX includes a “Mini Apps” tray of commonly used features such as task manager, calendar and music player which can be launched while other major applications are already in use. The clipboard feature allows users to copy and paste texts and images.

Powerful Multimedia
Galaxy Tab 7.7 lets you enjoy video clips without limitation, featuring 1080p full HD playback, DivX included multi codec and Micro SD. Samsung Hub Services [AVAILABILITY DEPENDS ON MARKET]
Samsung’s Hub Services offers easy access to content including games, eBooks, music and more.
